Glass elements are created and trapped inside hot glass, then the piece is sculpted. The idea of these pieces is to draw you into another world, full of colour and optical illusion.
This range really focuses on the optics of solid vs hollow glass. The small amount of colour is moved throughout the clear glass by the refraction and reflection of the light. Viewers are left questioning where the colour actually is in the piece.
Taking a break from the rainbow, No Grey area uses the qualities from my rainbow bubbles with a much more graphic and structured element inside.

The beginning of something new. Lava lamps have always been mesmerising, the first piece exploring if the qualities can be replicated in glass.

A much more open version of the window vase-you could say it was a happy accident. A new range that I look forward to developing.

This was inspired by a sculptural range I started, and made me wonder if vessel could have a hole in it and still be functional? It turns out the answer is yes!

This range is inspired by melting candles, the beautiful suspended drips of wax decorating a vessel. It also displays a lot of the optical qualities of glass that are so important to me.
These are made using the traditional technique of crackling glass, in a bright and modern way
